D.I.Y. NORTHWEST: Tie Dye Ottoman

As promised I spent the weekend doing projects around the house and I wanted to share my latest with all of you. You may have noticed lately tie-dye is back. But now it's in these gorgeous airy subdued hues and is expensive! So I decided to get out my trusty Rit Dye and transform this old storage ottoman that I couldn't stand to look at anymore...

I grabbed an old white sheet we had lying around, used rubber bands to pull out sections of the fabric, then left it in a bucket of dye water for a few hours.

Voila! If you're not picky about how the bottom or inside looks, all you need is a staple gun to reupholster to your heart's desire...Thank you so much for dropping by today, I hope you liked this little project and leave inspired to make your own furniture as stylish and unique as you..Enjoy!
