Love it / Live it: Orange Sherbet [Maoro Bonacino]

Happy Friday friends! I'm looking forward to a weekend full of good company as Jake and I are throwing our first little shindig in the new home. And since working for Kelley Moore I'm becoming quite the entertainer and have a few fun ideas up my sleeve that I am looking forward to sharing with you! In the mean time, in keeping with our summer cravings, I'm digging this sherbet orange right now...

The work by artist Mauro Bonacino is both simple and elegant while being incredibly unexpected. And let's be honest, though he is freaking brilliant in all that he does, I can't help but look at this series as a great D.I.Y. idea. All you need is white paper, spray paint and your favorite flower and you can totally snag this look. Loving the soft orange upholstery of this chair against its classic legs and nail heads too...Enjoy!

  1. I love bright, unexpected upholstery on otherwise traditional furniture like this!
